I started Origin because I kept seeing the same thing over and over again—good teachers slowly losing themselves in the job. The pressure to perform, meet expectations, and do things the “right” way builds over time. At some point, the question shifts from what kind of teacher do I want to be? to what is expected of me?

That shift in thinking really matters.

The teachers who make the biggest impact are not the ones who fit a mould. They are the ones who understand how they work, what they do well, and how to use that intentionally. Yet this is rarely part of how we are trained. The focus is often on fixing what is missing, rather than building on what is already working.

Origin was created to bring that focus back.

It supports teachers in reconnecting with themselves in a practical, usable way—identifying their strengths, applying them in the classroom, and building an approach to teaching that feels clear, consistent, and sustainable.
